Dr. Farnaz Gaminchi received her Bachelor's degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1990. She graduated Magna Cum Laude; she then pursued her medical degree in Boston, Tufts School of Medicine.
She graduated with Honors and was at the top of her class. She received her training in internal medicine from Beth Israel Hospital in New York City and completed her dermatology training at Loma Linda Medical Center. She served as the chief resident in dermatology during her final year. At Loma Linda, she taught undergraduate and graduate classes and participated in the medical center's dermatology research programs. She established her practice in West Hills in March of 2000 and is on staff in West Hills Hospital.
She is Board Certified in dermatology and has extensive experience in skin cancer surgery, laser procedures, and cosmetic dermatology. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons and is a fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Farnaz Gaminchi has won Vitals.com awards for the 2010 Patients' Choice Award and was recognized as a 2009 Compassionate Doctor.
Dr. Gaminichi is the mother to two beautiful girls, Sofia and Soraya. She enjoys hiking, traveling, running on the beach, and reading.
Kerry Schlosser is a nationally board-certified physician assistant licensed to work in the state of California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut in 1998 with her Bachelor of Arts degree. In 2000, she earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University. She has been working in dermatology for the past nine years and previously worked in general and plastic surgery. She had an article on infantile hemangiomas published in the May 2009 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. In addition, she continues to read and attend conferences about dermatology in order to broaden her knowledge of the field.
As a physician assistant, Kerry is qualified to perform detailed history and physical examinations, diagnose, and prescribe all necessary medications and/or treatments. She is adept at performing biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, and numerous cosmetic procedures, including Botox, dermal fillers, and sclerotherapy.
Sara Weiskirch is a California-licensed and board-certified physician assistant. She was born and raised in Orange County and received her Bachelor of Biological Sciences degree from the University of California, Irvine. She then earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Bethel University, TN, where she received specialized training in plastic surgery and dermatology. She is an active member of the California Dermatology Physician Assistants Society and a diplomate fellow in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Her role as a physician assistant allows her to perform a history and physical diagnosis and prescribe medications. She also is able to perform biopsies, excisions, laser treatments, and cosmetic procedures.
She is an avid lover of animals, cooking, live music, comedy shows, and traveling.
Mojdeh Tabibian is a California board-certified Physician Assistant, having earned her Master in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. She achieved Magna Cum Laude honors for her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles.
She commenced her career by practicing family medicine at a community health center for about four years. Her transition to dermatology is rooted in her recognition of the immediate impact a dermatology provider can have on restoring patients' confidence and capabilities. As a distinguished member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, she completed her fellowship in dermatology. She is also a devoted member of the California Dermatology Physician Assistant Society. She finds fulfillment in accurately diagnosing and skillfully treating a diverse spectrum of acute and chronic skin conditions. Mojdeh has the expertise to conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations, establish diagnoses, and prescribe appropriate medications and treatment. She is skilled at performing biopsies, excisions, and administering Botox injections.
Beyond her professional dedication, Mojdeh enjoys swimming, yoga, and traveling, cherishing moments with loved ones.
